Sweeps are easy to deploy, just unfold and attach integrated nylon strap to boom connectors. Polypropylene fibers natural hydrophobic properties combined with our Azsorb™ Technology repels water while absorbing only heavy oils and hydrocarbon based liquids from the water’s surface allowing sweeps to stay deployed longer. Sweeps still float when fully saturated.
